I posted this at another site and have gotten no response.
Mounted and pointed another Dish 500; looks like it has legacy lnb's.
Ran the wire direct to my VS Ultra - aligned the dish.
Getting reception on on BEV but want to hook it up a switch.
Here's where I'm not sure...have zenith multiswitch pic enclosed and the dish 500 pic also.
Can I hook the original dish 500 feed that sees 110 & 119 through port a and the other old dish which I'll point at BEV through port b?
Will that switch work?
Is this switch I have a diseiq switch?
If so what would be the Antenna settings on my vs Ultra....Tried some it and it doesn't work, forcing me to switch cables to either DN or BEV depending on what I want to watch.
Ultimately my system will consist of my original dn500 with dual legacy lnb's this will look at 110 / 119 the second dish (pictures below) is looking a BEV ; I've purchased another receiver CW800pvr...which will be hooked up in another room.
How can I hook this up with minimal cost.

The easyest way to hook up your two dishes to one stb. would be to use 2 diseqc switches and a ecoda 22khz switch or a sw21 switch.

I pref the heavy duty diseqc switch like the CHIETA WSD-2041. Two of those puppies will work very well with your setup. :D

This setup uses 2 single lnb's either legacy or dishpro and will work to receive 110/119 or 81/92 and will needa switch to conbine both sat's. Many switches will work with this setup including sw-21,sw-42,sw-44,22khz switch or 4x1 diseqc switch.

Thanks,
The switch I do have won't work?
If not I'll buy another one.
How do I wire it....
Port A from the origal feed 110/119
Port B from the new dish 81/92.
Is that correct?
That's how I wired this switch and it didn't work; not sure if it wa my wiring or the antenna configs....What do you think.
Thanking everyone in advance.

Good afternoon wreckless, use a 4x1 diseqc switch, 110 to port a, 119 to port b and the b$v to port c. Go to antena menu on receiver chose sat110 and put in settings switch to port a etc. This should get you going. I believe there is a picture of this set up in antenna set up section. Have a look.

Thanks.
I think I have it because both my lnb's are two outputs...I use Two 4 x 1 disiq switches.
One for each receiver.
Sounds simple enough...Thanks

your LNB's do look like dual LNB's, so go with the set up like Ucan2 has said, and all will work as long as your antenna and Switch settings match. if you can post your settings and we can make sure you are going in the right direction!

One last question....
If I was to think about the future a little and I wanted to add a third receiver; would something like a 4x4 Zinwell multi switch be a better choice?
It takes up to 4 lnb's with 4 outputs.
They're like $30 and I think it actually may make my wiring runs simpler.
Also... no problem on donations!
